About the role
This role is temporary and will report to the Director.
Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate curriculum
- Support children's social and emotional development
- Assist with daily classroom activities
- Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
- Valid Maryland teaching certificate or current substitute teaching certification
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field
- Experience working with young children preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass a background check
Skills
- Knowledge of child development stages
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Proficiency in using educational technology
