Substitute Paraprofessional

Substitute paraprofessionals provide assistance to both students and teachers in implementing lesson plans, work on an individual basis with students when necessary, and offer support within the educational setting.

Pay

• Base wage: $14.46/hour
• Additional pay based on total monthly hours worked:
  • Over 30 hours: + $0.75/hour
  • Over 60 hours: + $1.50/hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two-year or four-year degree preferred
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field
