Substitute Paraprofessional

Duties and Responsibilities

• Aid students with learning activities under the direction of the classroom teacher
• Provide individualized or small group support to students
• Maintain a positive learning environment
• Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch and recess
• Aid in managing classroom behavior

Qualification Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to form positive relationships with students
• Positive attitude focused on student growth and development
• Must be able to pass a background check
