Substitute Nurse / Health Aide

Requirements

• Valid nursing license from the Ohio Board of Nursing as an LPN or RN
• Medical Assisting certificate from Lorain County Community College or other accredited educational institution

Qualifications

Substitute Nurse (LPN or RN): Must be able to substitute as needed for the positions of health professional (building nurse) or personal nurse (one-on-one nurse) within the district.

Health Aide: Must be able to substitute as needed to cover absence/vacancy of building health professional and/or provide additional assistance within the district for other related medical activities.

Classification

Non-union, hourly-paid

• Health Professional(s)
• Building administrators

Hourly Rate

• Substitute Health professional: $21.75 per hour
• Health Aide: $17.00 per hour
