Substitute - Maintenance, Custodian

About the role

The Maintenance, Custodian position is responsible for providing general maintenance and custodial services across the district.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all assigned areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and sweeping.
• Assist in the repair and upkeep of school facilities including but not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and accounted for.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and bending.

Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
• Basic computer literacy.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Pay
