Duties
- Support teachers and other professional staff in a general or special education classroom or learning environment
- Perform paraprofessional curriculum and instructional tasks
- Assist with the daily management of students and classroom
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- Able to understand, follow, and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Work effectively with children, young adults, faculty, and staff
Preferred
- ParaPro Score of 455 or higher
- Previous experience as an instructional assistant/teacher assistant
