Requirements / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (must be attached to application at time of submission)
• Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) OR completion of ROP Childcare course (must be attached to application at time of submission)
• Pass the NCLB – VVUSD District Exam
• Resumé desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Twelve (12) units or more in Early Childhood Education

Application Attachments

Interested applicants are required to submit an EDJOIN online application and the following attachments:

• Test Scores: If you have taken the exam within the last three years, attach a copy of your letter indicating passing score of 75%. (Testing scores are good for three years from the original testing date.) If you are a new applicant, you will be invited to take the District exam if you pass the initial screening for the position. You will not have to attach any test scores.
• Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) or completion of ROP Childcare course (must be attached to application at time of submission)
• Copy of Transcript (Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) or completion of ROP Childcare course)
• Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma or GED)
