Responsibilities
- Guide members through personalized exercise programs based on members' goals, fitness levels, and health conditions.
- Lead group exercise classes, including balance, cardiovascular workouts, strength training, and other formats.
- Provide guidance and supervision to ensure proper exercise techniques and prevent injuries.
- Aid in health promotion initiatives, such as wellness workshops and events as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and program participation.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals, such as physical therapists, to optimize clients' health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred.
- Certified Personal Trainer and other relevant certifications considered (e.g., ACSM, NASM, ACE).
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fitness setting, preferably working with diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of exercise principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and preferences of clients.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals.
- Familiarity with exercise modifications and adaptations for individuals with health conditions or injuries.
