About This Role
Join the administrative team at Oak Hill Children's Center in Pownal, VT as a Substitute Early Childhood Educator. This role pays $15 – $20/Hr and requires a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
What You'll Do
- Fill in for classroom teachers who are absent and/or provide breaks to classroom teachers
- Provide high-quality care and education to young children
- Follow all Vermont Child Care Licensing regulations and center policies
- Complete necessary trainings
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with children, families, staff and specialists
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- At least a high school diploma/GED
- Must complete required trainings
- Must be 18 years of age
- Committed to providing high-quality early childhood education
- MUST BE RELIABLE AND POSITIVE
Nice to Have
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Professional experience working with young children
