About the role

The Spring Grove Area School District is seeking to fill Substitute Custodian/Maintenance positions for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate must be dependable, able to multi-task, enjoy working in a school district atmosphere, and have schedule flexibility. The individual should be willing to fill-in on short notice when coverage is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Support teachers and staff during emergencies
• Maintain a clean and safe school environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passing background check

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
• Knowledge of school safety protocols
