About the role
Serve as a substitute custodian when needed at any of our six schools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining school grounds and facilities
- Perform custodial duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Criminal Background Check
- Health Certification to Work
- TB Test within one year
- Proof of education
- Driver's License
- Proof of Social Security Card
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for all employees of the Seaford School District.

Special Conditions of Employment
- All new state employees will be required to participate in the State of Delaware's Direct Deposit system.
- The cost of the criminal background check is $65 (expense borne by the prospective employee).
- Candidates must also receive a satisfactory child protection registry check.
- Candidates must also produce documentation of Mantoux skin test results for entrance to school system.
- New employees will receive the first paycheck at the end of the second pay period of work.
