Substitute - Cosmetology Teacher **2026-2027 School Year**

Substitute Cosmetology Teacher applications are reviewed periodically by Klein ISD's CTE Department. If selected, you will be contacted by the CTE Department to discuss the opportunity.

Requirements

• Must hold a Current Texas Cosmetology Operator's License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Education:
  • Minimum: High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must upload a copy of current license and transcripts showing educational institution information or transcript evaluation (if international transcripts) to your application.
• You are required to have at least (1) reference from your current or most recent supervisor and (1) additional professional reference from past supervisor or co-worker.
• Please be advised that references from family, friends or anyone of personal acquaintance cannot be considered.
