- Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and academic standards.
- SUPPORT students in achieving grade-level proficiency.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support.
- Conduct oral reading sessions for individuals or groups.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning climate.
- Aid students with behavioral, physical, or intellectual needs.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports.
- Help with classroom materials, supplies, and operational tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the educational program.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working with students and teachers on academic standards.
- Experience supporting students with proficiency assessments.
- Valid State of Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Credential.
- Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain discipline and manage behavioral challenges calmly.

- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and student assessments.
- Support students in classroom activities, including art, music, and PE.
- Assist with toileting, feeding, mobility, and adaptive equipment.
- Prepare behavior charts and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain classroom order and address behavioral challenges calmly.
- Provide clerical support and other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ohio Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Credential.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a paraprofessional role preferred.

- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, basic math, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
