Pay

$21.00 – $26.15 per hour (D.O.E).

About the role

We are seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the west metro area. Substitutes in our South metro will work at schools in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Lakeville, Savage, and Rosemount.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.
• Ability to work a flexible part-time or full-time schedule, with a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
• Enjoyment working with children.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Physical ability to perform required job duties with or without accommodations.
