Substitute Bus Drivers

Rate of pay: $19.22–$24.51 per hour, determined by years of applicable, paid experience.

This position is a Level 5 role on the Transportation hourly rate schedule. All job descriptions for the district are posted on the Job Description Index.

Requirements

• Effective January 2020, any CDL drivers hired for transporting students must undergo a full FMCSA Clearinghouse Drug and Alcohol check as part of the new employment screening process, with annual limited checks throughout employment.
• Drivers hired after January 6, 2020, must have a registered account with the FMCSA Clearinghouse website to allow a full query during the new hire screening process. See the CDL Driver Registration document for setup instructions.
• This is a federal requirement, not exclusive to Derby Schools.
