Substitute Auxiliary Positions: Custodians and Food Service Staff

About the role

Assist with custodial or food service duties during staff absences. Substitute custodians help keep district buildings clean and safe. Substitute food service staff help prepare and serve meals and keep kitchen and serving areas clean. Substitute orientation details will be emailed to you.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning and maintaining district buildings.
• Perform food service duties such as preparing, serving meals and cleaning kitchen and serving areas.

Requirements

Must meet district requirements for the assigned position.

Qualifications

Cleaning, food preparation, food service, or related work experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Ability to use assigned equipment and supplies safely
• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the assigned position

Pay

Salary: From $11.00 per hour (Hourly)
