Substitute AM Houseperson

About the Role

Responsible for general cleaning of a minimum of one room daily, along with public areas, hallways, landings, and vending areas. Overnight Attendants ensure thorough cleaning of public spaces and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean mirrors and bathroom fixtures, dust all furniture, wipe windows (inside), move furniture, vacuum, and turn mattresses in guest rooms.
• Clean mirrors, vacuum, mop, wax, and wash walls and door frames in all public areas, hallways, landings, and vending areas as needed or arranged by supervisor.
• Polish all brass and metals throughout assigned areas.
• Clean light fixtures and spot clean walls, doors, etc.
• Gather soiled linen, garbage, and deposit in respective chutes.
• Take down and hang all drapes and curtains.
• Maintain equipment in operating condition.
• Make deliveries throughout the hotel as needed.
• Change shower curtains as needed.
• Strip beds as needed for high occupancy/check-out dates.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a position that provides the necessary skills for this role.
• Fluency in English.

Pay

Salary Range: $31.7794 - $42.3726 per hour.
