Substation Structural Engineer

About the Role

Lead structural design, analysis, and calculations for substation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Develop equipment and material recommendations, oversee structural efforts, generate specifications, and supervise engineering teams both domestically and internationally. Perform construction site duties, manage project budgets and schedules, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for substation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in structural engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Experience with 3D analysis software such as RISA or STAAD Pro.
• Expertise in foundation design.
