Responsibilities

  • Provide initial client contact to assess the scope of work and resources required to complete the project.
  • Oversee supervision of total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Project supervision includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, providing in-depth project knowledge and clear communication.
  • Establish, maintain, and update project schedules to meet contractual and operational requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, including cost tracking, invoicing, and change order management.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant project documentation and files.
  • Apply a proactive project management approach to identify and mitigate risks and prevent common project challenges.
  • Coordinate project turnover meetings with the sales and estimating teams to ensure seamless project launch.
  • Develop, set up, and manage project budgets for both lump sum and unit cost contracts.
  • Prepare detailed work packages for production and oversee all aspects of project execution from initiation through close out.
  • Collaborate effectively with production teams to communicate project details and ensure smooth execution.
  • Assume responsibility for productivity, quality, and safety, efficient use of resources, materials, and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.

Requirements

  • Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of heavy civil/infrastructure/transportation-related construction project management in the field. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, means, and methods); supervision, estimating, schedules, budget, and safety required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential.
  • Requires significant independent judgment.
  • Must be willing to travel.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate project needs.
