Substation Construction Planner

About the role

This position involves planning and coordinating substation maintenance and construction work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate substation maintenance and construction activities.
• Work in or around electrical substations.
• Understand and apply knowledge of substation equipment, including Bus systems, Circuit breakers, Disconnect switches.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and clearance documentation.
• Organize tasks efficiently and communicate effectively with team members.
• Solve problems that arise during substation operations.
• Use Microsoft Office applications proficiently.

Requirements

• Experience planning and coordinating substation maintenance and/or construction work.
• Hands-on experience working in or around electrical substations.
• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, including Bus systems, Circuit breakers, Disconnect switches.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and clearance documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
