About the role
The Substation Apparatus Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating electrical equipment in substations. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in substations
- Perform preventive maintenance on substation equipment
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment
