About the role
We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC), North Seattle, is a new clinic modeled after our Auburn location. Our mission is to support members during challenging times by providing a holistic approach to recovery, using evidence-based treatment and removing barriers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of all clinic policies and treatment procedures
- Provide individual counseling and case management services to assigned patients
- Maintain professional boundaries with patients and coworkers
- Promptly and accurately complete progress notations of all interactions with patients
- Prepare and submit required documents such as initial and ongoing treatment plans, responses to urinalysis/breathalyzer results, and discharge summaries
- Maintain regular communication with the Managed Services Organization (MSO) and attend meetings as requested
- Coordinate assigned patient treatment with other staff departments
- Participate in Treatment Team meetings to review patient progress and address issues
- Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures
- Participate in Federal and State substance use training and continuing education
- Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational way
- Support the mission with all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Academic training in the social service field and chemical dependency treatment
- Minimum two years of experience in the social service field and chemical dependency treatment
- Opioid Treatment Program experience preferred
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification desired but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of substance use treatment planning and counseling issues
- Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and outside contacts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Pass required background checks and be in current compliance with all other testing, screening, and credentialing as required
- Evening and weekend hours may be required
- Ability to travel as needed (minimal)
Qualifications
- Current Washington Department of Health C.D.P. license
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of substance use treatment planning and counseling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures
Benefits
Quarterly bonus plan launching in Q4, earning 8–16% of your quarterly pay for hitting key targets. Plus, the Tribe usually offers annual COLA adjustments (not guaranteed).
Pay
$35.00/hour for trainees, $72,000 - $90,000 for SUDPs, starting salary based on years of experience as a fully licensed SUDP.
Schedule
5 8-hour shifts 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Saturdays from 7:00am to 11:30am.
