About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders.
- Perform essential counseling functions.
- Conduct patient education regarding substance use disorders.
- Conduct group counseling.
- Conduct orientation activities.
- Conduct basis crisis response.
- Conduct luggage and room searches.
- Conduct safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule.
- Report and record keeping.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and competency in an electronic medical record.
- Ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, NYS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral sources and insurance contract requirements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in human services preferred.
- CASAC-Trainee, CASAC or other NYS QHP certification preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder and 12-Step philosophy preferred.

Salary Range – $18.00-24.00
The salary range is provided in accordance with NYS law and is based on Tully Hill’s good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Tully Hill considers factors including, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities, market and business considerations, as well as the candidate’s education/training, credentials, and work experience.
