Responsibilities
- Engage with patients through individual, group, and/or family counseling.
- Work with a collaborative treatment team (Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Services Coordinator, Counselors, and Nurses) to identify and meet the clinical needs of patients and assist in their overall well-being.
- Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork with patients.
- Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
- Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
- Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
- Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Perform at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual and/or group counseling sessions.
- Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
- Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
- Act in the best interests of the program and company; honor, support, and protect proprietary data and rights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and CADC-I (or state-specific equivalent).
- Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.
