Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients through individual, group, and/or family counseling.
  • Work with a collaborative treatment team (Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Services Coordinator, Counselors, and Nurses) to identify and meet the clinical needs of patients and assist in their overall well-being.
  • Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork with patients.
  • Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
  • Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
  • Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
  • Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
  • Perform at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week through individual and/or group counseling sessions.
  • Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
  • Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
  • Act in the best interests of the program and company; honor, support, and protect proprietary data and rights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and CADC-I (or state-specific equivalent).
  • Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.
