Substance Abuse Counselor - Substance Abuse Service Center
Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage client caseload.
- Intake screening and referral, individual and group counseling.
- Aid in maintaining therapeutic milieu.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Case management and escorting clients for advocacy when needed.
- Some outreach work as needed and related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- MSW or CASAC-T License required.
- LMHC or LMSW preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Knowledge of alcoholism treatment and familiarity with 12-step programs.
- Basic Computer Literacy required.
- Vaccination preferred but not required.
