Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree at minimum bachelor’s degree or higher in human services or counseling
- Be eligible to obtain Alcohol & Drug Counselor Certification (may already hold ADC 1 certification or be placed In-Process)
- Have verifiable college course credit hours in psychology, sociology, counseling, and social work in order to be eligible for certification or be placed in process
Duties
- Treatment Specialists provides comprehensive services to assist individuals who are dealing with opiate addiction or dependency
- Combine counseling with medications to optimize success in treatment
- Develop individual treatment plans with the patient’s active participation, which reflect current problems, strengths, and goals
- Explain patient rights and patient responsibilities, and provide orientation in a manner that is positive and clear to new intakes
- Ensure patient confidentiality in all areas, in compliance with 42 CFR 11
- Complete all proper documentation in a timely manner
- Provide and guarantee effective treatment for all patients in need, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, age, or sexual preference

$23.50/hr+ depending on experience, licenses, and certifications relating to substance abuse and counseling
Schedule
FT, Monday - Friday: 5:00 am - 12:30 pm
