Responsible for

  • Management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
  • Leadership of multifunctional subcontract management teams.
  • Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
  • Development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
  • Preparation of bid packages, conduct of bidders' conferences, development of evaluation criteria, analysis and evaluation of proposals, negotiation of subcontract provisions including price, selection or recommendation of subcontractors, writing of subcontract packages, preparation of awards and administration of resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
  • Open to occasional travel, up to ~10% to support Program and/or Supplier visits.
  • US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US TS/SCI clearance, to support government contracts, as well as successfully pass a background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Desired Skills

  • 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals, including processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts and acquisition procedures.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS.
  • Familiarity with SAP/P2P enterprise resource planning software.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to interface with all levels of management and persuade/motivate action.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Benefits

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $100,200.00 - $186,200.00

Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
