Subcontract Administrator II

About the role
This position administers subcontracts, focusing initially on sustainment and repairs depot programs with potential expansion to other business areas. Responsibilities include soliciting and reviewing supplier proposals, developing evaluation criteria, negotiating subcontract terms, selecting subcontractors, and preparing subcontract packages. You will manage repair and sustainment subcontract purchase orders end-to-end, from requisition through modification and closeout, ensuring accuracy in pricing, funding, and compliance with contract flow-down requirements.
Leverage ERP data to build analytics and metrics tracking PO trends, repair turnaround times, volume, aging actions, and pricing changes. Produce routine reports supporting sustainment forecasting and audit readiness. The role requires effective communication internally and externally, relationship-building, procurement compliance knowledge, and proactive adoption of best practices.
Responsibilities
- Solicit and review supplier proposals, develop evaluation criteria, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
- Select or recommend subcontractors and participate in developing subcontract packages for review.
- Prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts, negotiating additions, deletions, or modifications.
- Coordinate material receipts and resolve issues related to contractual requirements, including invoice discrepancies.
- Develop subcontracts and maintain subcontract files, coordinating work requirements with the Product team.
- Define terms and conditions for procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services.
- Participate in Zero Defect initiatives with suppliers.
- Administer repair and sustainment subcontract purchase orders end-to-end, from requisition through modification and closeout.
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, funding, and compliance with contract flow-down requirements.
- Leverage ERP data to build analytics and metrics tracking PO trends, repair turnaround times, volume, aging actions, and pricing changes.

Requirements
- Familiarity with a large, complex multifaceted electronics design and manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with the defense aerospace industry and regulations, including the role of procurement in complex industries.
- Ability to define and track KPIs such as repair turnaround time, PO aging, and pricing variance.
- Meticulous file maintenance for audit-ready PO packages and funding traceability.
- Root cause curiosity to spot anomalies in cost or cycle time and flag them for senior review.
- Clear reporting skills to translate raw data into concise charts and summaries for supply chain management and internal teams.
- Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations, ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation), and EAR (Export Administration Regulation).
- Understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Secret clearance eligible.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $73,534 – $125,007. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
