Job Summary
Under supervision of the Child Development Services Coordinator, provides training to teaching personnel, develops curricula and provides educational resources for staff and parents. Monitors, reviews and evaluates centers to ensure program compliance with Early Learning Program Performance Standards, Title 22, Title 5, and program policies. Assists in the planning and coordination of the Educational Services Component and supports oversight of other service components as directed.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or related field
- Completed coursework must include, with a grade C or better, in at least one of the following core areas: Child/Human growth and development; Child Family and community or Child and Family Relations; ECE curriculum course
- Hold a valid CCTCC Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or higher
- Experience supervising and providing training to teaching staff
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an infant/toddler or preschool classroom
Licenses and Certifications:
- Possess an appropriate California driver's license with evidence of insurability
- Possession of Pediatric First aid and Pediatric CPR certificates within 90 days of employment
- Certification as reliable in preschool and/or toddler CLASS tools or receive certification within 30 days of job offer
