Responsibilities
- Covers coordination and verification of installation schedules with Project Coordinator and/or Installation Supervisor.
- Directs work processes at job sites.
- Identifies installation methods, work procedures, materials, tools, and work aids from work order forms.
- Installs windows and doors to walls/openings according to Pella Corporation guidelines and quality standards.
- Tests the operations of each unit and demonstrates product operation to customers.
- Maintains a clean and tidy job site after installation.
- Communicates effectively with customers and represents Pella Mid-Atlantic professionally.
- Trains sub-contractors on operating procedures and contacts for future needs.
- Ensures customer completion of Certificate of Completion and collection of any outstanding balances.
- Ensures adherence to high-quality standards of work.
- Conducts job site inspections of sub-contractors as needed.
- Performs recovery work as necessary.
- Ensures proper scanning and alerting of warehouse personnel regarding product/material returns.
- Uses, maintains, and stores company-provided tools appropriately.
- Maintains compliance with company safety requirements.
Requirements
- Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology, or window and door applications.
- Communication skills.
- Ability to respond clearly, concisely, and promptly to questions/requests via phone or email.
- Ability to write legibly and informatively, read and interpret written information, and edit work for spelling and grammar.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Skills/Knowledge
