Sub-contractor Carpenter

One Stop Home Repair is an employee-owned (ESOP) company providing a full range of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling services. This role is ideal for experienced, reliable professionals who take pride in craftsmanship and can work independently while representing our company with integrity.

Responsibilities

- General carpentry and handyman work - Kitchen and bathroom remodels - Framing, trim, and finish carpentry - Door and window installation - Drywall installation and repair - Decks, porches, and small additions - Punch list and service work - Complete assigned jobs according to scope, timeline, and quality standards - Communicate clearly with dispatch, project managers, and homeowners - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site - Accurately track time, materials, and job progress as required - Identify and communicate change orders or unforeseen issues

Requirements

- 5+ years of residential carpentry experience (required) - Strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry - Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field - Professional communication and customer service skills - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must supply own tools and equipment - Proper insurance coverage: - General Liability Insurance - Workers’ Compensation Insurance (or exemption if applicable)

Qualifications

- Experience in remodeling and multi-trade environments - Ability to perform light work in other trades (tile, basic plumbing, etc.) - Familiarity with job tracking or service software (or willingness to learn)
