Responsibilities
These positions will fit and assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to prints or sketches. Key responsibilities include:
- Read and analyze assembly and electrical prints/bills of material
- Fit and assemble components according to specifications using proper tools and verifying conformance of parts
- Install wiring, electrical components, and panel building to specifications
- Identify and communicate with Leaders regarding build issues and documentation
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field, or a high school diploma with a minimum of one year experience related to mechanical, HPL, and/or electrical assembly of industrial machinery. Additionally, the candidate should possess:
- Ability to assemble both mechanical and electrical components according to prints and sketches
- Written, verbal, and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively
- Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Appropriate hand tools
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years old at the time of hire to operate equipment

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The candidate should be able to:
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move about frequently
- Perform occasional repetitive motion and grasping
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
- Sit, grasp items or perform keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
- Work in an environment with typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
