Stylist (PT)

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Provide services in a professional, courteous fashion and within scheduled time frame.
• Maintain professional proficiency in state-of-the-art techniques concerning applications, styling techniques and procedures to include shampooing, cutting, and coloring, tapering and applying permanents to hair.
• Promote the sale of salon products and services.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must possess well-developed customer service techniques and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients.
• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• Must possess a NY state license in Cosmetology One (1) to three (3) years salon experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education is required.

• Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.

• Light lifting.
• Must be able to work in a casino environment for extended periods of time.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.

Pay

Salary Starting Rate $13.30 Compensation Is Negotiable Based On Experience And Education. Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
