About the role
The Studio Director at Attersee is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations, client experience, and sales performance of the Studio. This role requires balancing Studio management, client development, communication, and business development simultaneously. The ideal candidate should bring strong operational instincts, elevated client service standards, and the ability to build structure while maintaining the brand's culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and functionality of the Studio, ensuring an elevated and seamless client experience at all times
- Partner closely with leadership on business priorities, operational initiatives, sales opportunities, and strategic growth initiatives
- Manage Studio scheduling, appointments, client flow, operational planning and communication across departments
- Establish and maintain operational processes that support efficiency while preserving the brand’s highly personal and high-touch approach to service
- Own Studio inventory management and inventory levels, partnering closely with merchandising, fulfillment, and operational systems to oversee replenishment, product flow, transfers, RTVs, fulfillment coordination and overall inventory accuracy
- Ensure the Studio environment, presentation, hospitality and overall client experience consistently reflect the brand
- Drive Studio sales performance and oversee the execution of client development and retention strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top clients, stylists, personal shoppers and industry partners
- Analyze sales and client performance data to identify opportunities for growth, appointment generation, repeat business and long-term relationship development
- Identify opportunities to grow repeat business, re-engage lapsed clients, and deepen long-term client relationships through thoughtful outreach and follow-through
- Act as a key client-facing representative of the brand, both within the Studio environment and during moments of travel
- Partner with leadership to strengthen sales culture, accountability and ownership around Studio performance
- Identify opportunities for community engagement and strategic partnerships that align with the brand’s positioning and values
- Help grow Attersee’s presence within the luxury and creative community through thoughtful and highly personalized outreach
- Represent the brand externally through networking, events, partnerships, and relationship-building opportunities throughout New York
- Communicate and coordinate with the Studio, leadership, merchandising, operations, fulfillment, and external partners to ensure smooth coordination around product arrivals, client requests, inventory communication, special orders, and Studio priorities
- Create systems and structure that allow the Studio to scale effectively without losing its intimacy, service standards, or sense of community
- Directly oversee the Coordinator role, providing day-to-day management, prioritization, and support
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented, and detail-driven Studio culture
- Lead with strong ownership, accountability, professionalism, and an entrepreneurial mindset across all areas of the business
- Bring adaptability and creativity to new initiatives and evolving business needs
Requirements
- Strong understanding of luxury client service, client development, and relationship-building
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to utilize client and sales data to support outreach, retention, and business growth strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working within a lean, fast-moving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and events as business needs require
- A genuine appreciation for luxury fashion, service and brand-building
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience working within Shopify or a similar CRM, POS, or retail operating system preferred

- Minimum of 5 years working in a luxury retail environment within a leadership role
