Academic Year: 26/27 Fall & Spring

Schedule

• Required workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Fixed hours: 2 to 4 hours per week

About the role

The Student Success Center is looking for Tutors to provide academic/writing support to students outside the classroom by helping students understand course material, prepare for exams, improve their study strategies, or assist with writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in understanding course material, develop effective study skills, and prepare for exams and quizzes
• Work closely with faculty to understand course content and identify students needing extra help
• Provide feedback on common academic challenges

Requirements

• Strong academic performance in the course(s) to be tutored, with faculty recommendation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with faculty
