About the role

In our working group "Hygrothermal Simulation and Climate-Specific Moisture Protection," we develop the WUFI® software family for hygrothermal building component design, used worldwide. We are seeking your support in software development.

  • Implementation and testing of feature requests for WUFI® Graph and the WUFI® Pro 7 climate interface – from specification to code review.
  • Identification, analysis, and resolution of bugs in Java-based components; documenting errors comprehensibly and developing solutions.
  • Independent work on small to medium tasks with regular team feedback, learning our development process, architecture, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a student.
  • Structured and independent work approach.
  • Java knowledge and familiarity with object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Good English skills for code documentation.

Schedule

Minimum of 5 hours per week. The position is initially limited to one year (depending on the semester), with an extension desirable.
