About the role

We are looking for a student assistant (20 hours per week) to support our editorial team in Munich and Dresden with content planning, production, and marketing for HOME of TRAVEL, one of the most innovative media companies in the travel and outdoor segment, reaching over 40 million people annually.

Responsibilities

• Create multimedia travel reports
• Write engaging travel articles
• Produce informative short videos and photo collages
• Manage and grow content on social media platforms
• Organize press trips for our bloggers
• Respond to community questions on HOME of TRAVEL channels
• Develop briefings and reports for advertising clients
• Generate ideas for travel-related topics

Requirements

• Excellent local knowledge, especially in Europe
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in German
• Enrolled in a media, communications, or related field of study
• First professional experience in online media or a comparable field
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Familiarity with WordPress and storytelling tools
• High degree of independence and organizational skills
• Team player with creativity and a passion for travel
