Job Summary The Student Worker has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing general office/departmental support and assisting departments with any other related duties as assigned. The Student Worker’s worked hours must not exceed 20 hours per week. This is a non-exempt position. Duties/Responsibilities Filing, making copies, faxing, shredding and scanningData entryDocument creation and/or maintenance, using Microsoft Word and ExcelMay assist with department and/or student eventsGreet and assist office guests, campus visitors, etc.Answer phone, receive and sort mailComply with campus policies and proceduresOther related duties, as assignedMinimum/Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Current LSCPA student, enrolled in a minimum of six (6) semester credit hours per long semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during Summer semestersGrade Point Average of 2.0 or higherValid driver’s license/state IDMust be comfortable performing work independently and with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer program/applicationsAbility to operate office equipment: computer, calculator, copier, faxSupplemental Information Physical Requirements This position requires employees to remain in a stationary position most of the time; move to various locations on campus; move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine.
