About the role
Marymount offers employment opportunities for students during the academic year (fall and spring semesters) and during the summer, through two different programs depending on financial need. This position offers valuable work experience and the opportunity to develop organizational and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries, scan packages, and sort them by last name
- Answer phone calls and provide assistance and information as needed
- Deliver packages to various departments
- Organize packages and maintain a tidy workspace
- Assist with outgoing mail
- Provide assistance to students and staff regarding package and mail inquiries
- Assist with lifting and moving heavier packages or supplies
- Support general mailroom activities, including stocking supplies and assisting with special projects
- Arrive in a timely manner to relieve previous staff members

Schedule
Up to 20 hours per week. Employment begins at a time designated by Print & Mail Services office and is a semester-to-semester contract. Job performance will determine if you are requested to return for the following semester. Employment for subsequent years occurs through a reapplication process and is contingent upon previous job performance. Reemployment is not guaranteed.
Pay
Hourly wage: $15.00 per hour
