Student Worker (Part-Time, 6-Month Program)
About the role
Gain valuable work experience while working to support access to justice in your community through the Superior Court of Los Angeles County’s Student Worker Program. This six-month paid program places college students in hands-on assignments where they gain experience supporting daily court operations, whether in a courthouse or one of the many administrative areas that keep the Court running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on clerical and administrative support to court staff and management
- Organize documents
- Assist with office projects
- Support team workflows
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited university, community college, or trade/vocational school
- Successful completion of the sophomore year
- Semester system: 60 units completed
- Quarter system: 90 units completed
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be available to start in November 2026
Pay
$22.28/hour
Schedule
Part-time, with schedules arranged to fit around participants’ classes. The program runs from late October 2026 through May 2027. Student Workers must participate in court-sponsored program activities, typically held on Wednesdays and Fridays. Selected participants must be available to work 15 hours per week and commit to participating in three program activities per month.
