Student Worker - Noyce Grant

About the role

This position is designed to give the NSF-Noyce Gant recipients experiential learning activities in the Math Education field while here at HCC.

Responsibilities

• Spend up to 15 hours per semester observing math classes from a variety of instructors
• Assisting with class work activities for an assigned class
• Running test preparation sessions for students in lower-level math classes

Requirements

• Must be a current HCC student for the Fall 2026 semester
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits
• Unless first-semester student, must have attained a 2.0 semester GPA during the last semester attended
• Must also be applying for the Noyce Grant through the Mathematics Department

Additional hours may be available if fewer grant recipients are selected.
