Student Worker - Marketing Intern - East Carolina Univ.

About the role

Aramark at East Carolina University is seeking Marketing Interns to support a Peer to Peer program with the ECU Campus Dining Team. This opportunity allows you to build your resume, connect with other students, and earn money while engaging with people.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents and incoming students about the benefits of enrolling in a meal plan and the dining options on campus.
• Work with the team to reach sales goals for university meal plans.
• Support the marketing department in maintaining customer satisfaction and retaining meal plan members by following marketing strategies provided for the academic year.
• Assist in Dining Membership tabling events and activities around campus to educate and sell meal plans.
• Be knowledgeable in the meal plan structure, monetary value, and overall benefits of eating on campus.
• Support and create social media content related to Marketing campaign efforts, Meal Plans, Retail LTOs, Events, and other assignments.
• Distribute marketing material and promotional items.

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Active ECU student.
• Demonstrates great verbal and written communication skills.
• Shows a passion for engaging with people and maintains professionalism on the job.
• Demonstrates dedication and commitment to academics and prior jobs.

This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
