As a Student Food Services / Catering Worker you’ll help prep food, follow safety guidelines, and master customer service and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
- Properly store food in accordance with standards.
- Set up workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
- Break down, clean, and sanitize workstations.
- Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
- Replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co‑workers.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure security of company assets.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Must have or acquire food safety certification.
- Demonstrates strong guest service skills.
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
- May be required to wear uniforms and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
