Pay Range: Targeted salary of $12.00/hour, based on education and experience. Benefits Eligible: No Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule, 10–15 hours per week Travel: Not required Position Introduction The Center for Student Success (CSS) in the Price College of Business is seeking a dependable, friendly, and service-oriented student worker to support the daily operations of the Center. This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable professional experience while assisting students, faculty, staff, and CSS team members. Essential Responsibilities Staff the CSS front desk and serve as a welcoming first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff.Answer general questions and provide assistance or direct individuals to the appropriate resources, offices, or CSS staff members.Monitor and maintain the front desk and common areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and welcoming.Address basic custodial and facility-related issues and report maintenance or other concerns as appropriate.Assist CSS employees with administrative, operational, and other duties as assigned.Help prepare for, facilitate, and support college-wide events, programs, and activities.Assist with event setup, registration, materials, room preparation, and cleanup as needed.Provide general support to the Center for Student Success and Price College of Business.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Be willing to dress Business Professional and Business Casual when required. Required Education And Experience Must be currently enrolled in the Fall Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status. Qualifications Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma (Price College student preferred.)Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.Reliable and dependable with the ability to work independently.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.Comfortable interacting with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Basic computer and organizational skills.Previous customer service, office, or event experience is helpful but not required.
