Student Worker - Camden Post Secondary Cafeteria

General Description

This is a part-time position limited to meal service (breakfast and lunch).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized serving area
• Ensure food safety
• Provide customer service to students and staff

Training

• Basic Understanding of Kitchen safety and sanitation precautions
• Proper Lifting Techniques

Qualifications

• Must be a current Campbell Union High School District high school student
• Must be able to work 3 days per week
• If 17 years or younger, must obtain a work permit
• If 18 years or older, must be fingerprinted (Instructions on how to be fingerprinted included with new hire paperwork)
• Maintain a 2.0 grade point average
• Dependable and punctual
• Follow established procedures
• Carry out oral and written instructions

Working Conditions

• Environment: School cafeteria
• Physical Demands: Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds (50 pounds by two employees), pulling and pushing carts on a daily basis, standing and walking for extended period of time
• Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate with students, food service coworkers, supervisor and other staff
