About the Role
Applicants for this position will be included in a pool from which Supervisors will be selected as needed. Selected candidates will supervise, observe, and evaluate student teachers during their penultimate clinical teaching experience in preparation for Utah state licensure.
This is a pooled adjunct position; selections are made as openings arise. The candidate pool expires after a set period, and applicants are notified at that time.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, observe, and evaluate student teachers in K–12 elementary, secondary, or Special Education classrooms.
- Conduct observations during regular school hours (approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM).
- Travel to various school locations to perform in-classroom evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (K–12 elementary, secondary, or Special Education).
- Minimum of five years of teaching experience in elementary, secondary, or Special Education.
- Held a Utah Teaching License within the last ten years.
- Availability during regular school hours (approximately 7:00 AM–4:00 PM).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education preferred.
- Administrative or supervisory experience in K–12 settings preferred.
A criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.
