Student Teaching Assistant, Sculpture Studio

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean studios before and after classes.
• Assist the professor and students during class.
• Provide guidance to students, including grading quizzes and assignments.
• Set up and take down experiments for class/lab work.
• Hold office hours and problem-solving sessions.
• Assist faculty with classroom instruction, records, and assignments.
• Lead student discussion sections.
• Conference with students individually or in small groups.
• Deliver lectures and guest lectures.
• Manage course communications.
• Prepare laboratory materials.
• Record and calculate grades.
• Enforce laboratory rules and procedures.
• Take attendance and monitor participation.
• Obtain and distribute course materials.
• Order course textbooks and monitor supplies.
• Conduct research for the professor.
• Maintain student records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
