Student Teacher- Wegner Day School

Supports the day-to-day operations for contingent workers; tracks, organizes, and manages contingent workers, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate documentation, and timely communication with hiring managers and external partners prior to assignment. Coordinates all recurring compliance for contingent workers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons alongside your mentor teacher
• Instruct students in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction for diverse needs
• Reflect on teaching practices and participate in feedback sessions
• Support classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor to meet organizational needs
• Serve as a role model by carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a teacher education program
• Completion of relevant coursework in pedagogy, child development, and curriculum design

Work Environment

Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks. Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up.

Pay

Starting pay: $5,000 stipend.

Schedule

Full-Time (Spring 2027 Placement). Shifts: Monday–Friday, school hours.
