Student Teacher Fall 2026 (Private Posting)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in University and/or Alternative Certification Program
• University and/or Alternative Certification Program (ACP) assignment to student teach with Cypress Fairbanks ISD
• Must provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States

TIMING:

• Valid for one semester once student teaching is complete
• Candidate may be considered for substitute teaching role

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a current student teacher in CFISD for 2026-2027 school year
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university (Letter of intent from university accepted with transcript commitment date)
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Experience working with children preferred
• Flexible and able to adjust daily routine
• Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees

PAY:

• For Substitute Teaching Only $110.00/day
