The Lawndale Elementary School District has Student Supervision Assistant positions open at various sites. This position accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per-year career enrichment program for employees.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree preferred — or knowledge and willingness to demonstrate the skills and abilities listed in the job description (Education Code 44815)
  • First Aid Certification (must be valid)
  • Current Valid CPR Certificate

Schedule & Site Assignments

Site and schedule are subject to change. Current openings:

  • J. Addams Middle School — 27.5 hrs/week
    • Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 7:40 am–9:00 am | 11:05 am–1:40 pm | 1:55 pm–3:20 pm
    • Thu: 7:40 am–10:20 am | 10:40 am–1:00 pm
  • W. Anderson Elementary School — 11.25 hrs/week
    • Mon–Fri: 8:00 am–8:30 am | 11:15 am–11:40 am | 11:40 am–12:00 pm | 12:00 pm–1:00 pm
  • F.D. Roosevelt Elementary School — 27.5 hrs/week
    • Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 8:00 am–9:00 am | 9:25 am–10:55 am | 11:25 am–1:15 pm | 2:30 pm–3:30 pm
    • Thu: 8:00 am–9:00 am | 9:25 am–10:55 am | 11:10 am–2:10 pm

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $18.03 – $23.00
  • One paid vacation day and one paid sick day accrued per month of employment
  • $1,000 per-year career enrichment program
